New combo therapy aims to boost immune system against liver cancer before surgery

NCT ID NCT04857684

Summary

This is a small, early-stage study testing a new treatment approach for liver cancer that can be removed by surgery. Researchers want to see if giving a combination of targeted radiation and two immunotherapy drugs *before* the operation is safe and might help the body's immune system better fight the cancer. The goal is to see if this approach could lower the chance of the cancer coming back after surgery.
