New Heat-Sensitive gel tested to starve liver tumors

Summary
This study is testing whether a new temperature-sensitive embolic agent works as well as the standard gelatin sponge for controlling liver cancer during TACE procedures. TACE is a minimally invasive treatment that delivers chemotherapy directly to the tumor and blocks its blood supply. The trial will enroll 216 adults with primary liver cancer across multiple centers in China to compare how well tumors respond to each approach.
