New Liver-Targeted chemo aims to slash Cancer's return after surgery

NCT ID NCT07284394

Summary

This study is for people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and who are at high risk of the cancer returning after surgery. Researchers are testing if delivering a chemotherapy drug (oxaliplatin) directly into the liver's blood supply is more effective at preventing recurrence than giving it through a standard IV. The goal is to see if this targeted approach helps patients stay cancer-free for longer after their initial surgery.
