Blood test patterns could predict liver cancer patient outcomes
NCT ID NCT07204262
Summary
This study looked back at 379 patients with advanced liver cancer to see if tracking changes in their blood markers over time, combined with their medical history, could better predict how their disease might progress. Researchers analyzed patient records to build a model that aims to give doctors a clearer picture of a patient's risk. The goal is to help doctors make more personalized treatment decisions, though this study itself did not test a new treatment.
