New blood test aims to spot deadly liver cancer sooner
NCT ID NCT05971108
Summary
This study is testing a new blood test algorithm called Elecsys GAAD to see if it can help detect liver cancer earlier in people with liver cirrhosis. Researchers will enroll 600 patients with cirrhosis to compare this new test against current standard screening methods. The main goal is to find cancer at an earlier, more treatable stage and reduce unnecessary follow-up tests from false alarms.
