New drug combo aims to shrink liver tumors before surgeons operate

NCT ID NCT04658147

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether giving one or two immunotherapy drugs before and after surgery is safe and helpful for people with liver cancer that can be removed. The goal is to see if the drugs shrink the tumor before surgery and help prevent the cancer from coming back afterward. Researchers will track 31 patients to measure side effects, surgery success, and long-term survival.
