Liver cancer patients may soon recover at home instead of hospital

Summary
This study tests whether people with liver cancer can recover at home after a procedure that delivers chemotherapy directly to the tumor, instead of staying in the hospital. About 206 adults with liver cancer will be randomly assigned to either home or hospital recovery. Researchers will measure patient satisfaction, safety, and costs over 7 months to see if home recovery is a good option.
