New hope for inoperable cancer: drug combo paves way for Life-Saving transplant
NCT ID NCT07471165
Summary
This study is testing a multi-step treatment plan for people with a type of advanced bile duct cancer that cannot be surgically removed. The goal is to see if a combination of immunotherapy drugs, chemotherapy, and radiation can shrink the tumor enough to make the patient eligible for a liver transplant. Researchers will enroll about 25 patients to see if this approach is safe and effective at getting them to transplant.
