Race to save kidneys in liver patients with dangerous bleeding

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two existing drugs works better for liver cirrhosis patients who have a dangerous stomach bleed and sudden kidney injury. Researchers will compare terlipressin and somatostatin in 64 patients to see which one is more effective at reversing the kidney injury. The main goal is to see which treatment better protects kidney function over five days.
