First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study followed over 1,200 people with liver cancer who had a microwave ablation procedure to destroy tumors. Researchers collected information on how well the ablation worked right after the procedure and over time, including tumor recurrence and survival rates. The goal was to improve future treatment guidance, not to test a new therapy.
