Summary

This study tested whether a traditional Chinese herbal pill, Liuwei Dihuang, can help manage age-related hearing loss. 120 adults aged 65-75 with mild to moderate hearing loss took either the pill or a placebo for 48 weeks. The goal was to see if the pill improved speech understanding in quiet settings.
