Text messages & extra help tested to boost latino Toddlers' learning

NCT ID NCT04609553

Summary

This study tested whether adding text message reminders and easier access to community resources could improve a standard reading program in doctor's offices. Researchers worked with 662 low-income Latino families with young children to see if these extra supports helped kids learn language and social skills better. The goal was to find practical ways to reduce learning gaps for these children early in life.
