First seen Dec 30, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests two liquid versions of the diabetes drug metformin to see how quickly and completely they enter the bloodstream compared to regular tablets. About 24 healthy volunteers aged 18 to 55 will take each form in a random order. The goal is to measure drug levels in the blood, not to treat any disease.
