Blood test could replace needles and scans for breast cancer detection

NCT ID NCT06336928

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a blood test, called a liquid biopsy, can accurately detect breast cancer. Researchers will compare the blood test results with mammograms and standard tissue biopsies in about 490 women. If successful, this could offer a less invasive way to screen for breast cancer.
