First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether a new blood test (liquid biopsy) can accurately find cancer biomarkers in patients with head and neck, lung, or skin cancer. 135 adults with advanced cancer provided blood and tumor tissue samples. The goal was to see if the blood test works as well as the standard tissue biopsy for guiding treatment decisions.
