Blood test could pave way for pill to treat dangerous brain tangles
NCT ID NCT07103304
Summary
This study aims to see if a simple blood test, taken from a vein near a brain blood vessel malformation during planned surgery, can detect specific genetic changes. Researchers hope finding these genetic markers will help develop future non-invasive drug treatments. The study will enroll 16 adults who are already scheduled for a procedure to treat their malformation.
