Simple blood test could transform lung cancer diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07182214
Summary
This study aims to see if a blood test (liquid biopsy) can help doctors assess lung cancer by measuring specific markers called miRNA and DNA methylation. It will compare results from about 1,340 people who either have suspicious lung nodules or are healthy. The goal is to find a less invasive way to evaluate lung cancer and potentially reduce unnecessary surgeries and scans.
