Blood test could offer new window into deadly brain tumors

NCT ID NCT05925218

Summary

This study aims to develop a better 'liquid biopsy'—a blood test—to monitor high-grade brain tumors without repeated surgeries. Researchers will collect blood samples from 70 patients before and after their radiation treatment to see if tumor DNA in the blood can be reliably detected and tracked over time. The goal is to create a sensitive tool for understanding how these aggressive brain tumors change and respond to therapy.
