First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at whether cholesterol tests taken during a heart attack hospital stay give reliable results. About 100 adults admitted for a heart attack will have their cholesterol checked at the start, two days later, and again 4-6 weeks after leaving the hospital. The goal is to see if the timing of the test affects treatment decisions and helps close gaps in managing high cholesterol.
