Summary
This study aims to create a collection of blood and tissue samples from 200 women, with and without lipedema, to learn more about the disease. Lipedema is a painful fat buildup in the legs that is often misdiagnosed as obesity. Researchers will analyze these samples to find biological markers that could help with future diagnosis and management, but this study itself does not test a treatment.
