Summary
This study tested if a lip bumper appliance helps straighten lower front teeth faster after premolar extractions, which are part of standard braces treatment. Researchers also checked if the appliance affected gum health or oral hygiene. They compared 44 patients who got the lip bumper to a control group that had extractions only, following both groups for three months.
