NCT ID NCT07438041
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a mobile app and having a community health worker deliver PrEP (HIV prevention medication) at a place convenient for the participant—like home or a mobile van—helps young people aged 13–24 stick with their PrEP routine. About 272 participants who are HIV-negative and sexually active will be followed for 6–9 months. The goal is to see if this approach improves adherence and persistence compared to standard clinic-based care.
