This trial tests whether a special light mode called linked color imaging (LCI) helps doctors find more sessile serrated lesions (a type of precancerous colon polyp) during colonoscopy than standard white light. About 2,000 adults aged 45 and older having their first screening colonoscopy will be randomly assigned to have the procedure done in two passes, with the order of light modes switched. The goal is to see if LCI reduces the number of lesions missed on the first look.
