Summary
This study tests whether an intensive weight loss program—including meal replacements, counseling, and weight-loss medication—works better than standard care for adults with severe obesity. About 600 participants aged 18 to 60 with a high BMI and related health issues like diabetes or heart disease will be followed. The goal is to see if the program improves health, quality of life, and is cost-effective.
