VA tests morning light to heal Veterans' troubled sleep
NCT ID NCT03578003
Summary
This study is testing whether daily morning bright light therapy can improve sleep quality for veterans, especially those dealing with traumatic brain injury (TBI) or PTSD. Researchers will recruit 200 veterans to use a light box for 60 minutes each morning for four weeks while tracking their sleep patterns. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug approach can reduce insomnia and help regulate sleep-wake cycles.
