Seeing green for less pain? glasses tested as Drug-Free relief after surgery

NCT ID NCT06772519

Summary

This study tested whether wearing glasses with green or blue lenses could help reduce pain and nausea after kidney donation surgery, offering a potential drug-free option. It involved 48 kidney donors who were asked to wear the glasses for at least 8 hours a day after their operation and report their symptoms. Researchers compared the colored lens groups to people wearing clear glasses or no glasses to see if the color made a difference.
