First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tested a wearable light therapy device (Re-Timer) in 95 women with postpartum depression to see if it improves mood and sleep. Participants used the light each morning for 5 weeks and completed questionnaires, sleep tracking, and saliva tests. The goal was to see if bright light therapy helps reset the body clock and reduce depression symptoms better than a dim light placebo.
