Could morning light be the key to fighting long COVID fatigue?
NCT ID NCT05677932
Summary
This small study tested whether daily bright light therapy could help reduce the severe fatigue many people experience after having COVID-19. Twelve participants with long-lasting post-COVID fatigue were randomly assigned to use either a bright light lamp or a dim placebo lamp for 30 minutes each morning for two weeks. Researchers measured their fatigue, sleep, and mood before, immediately after, and two weeks after the treatment to see if the bright light made a difference.
