Shining a light on relief: new hope for cancer Survivors' chronic swelling

NCT ID NCT06837480

Summary

This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive light therapy can reduce chronic swelling (lymphedema) in people who have survived head and neck cancer. The therapy, already approved for similar swelling in breast cancer survivors, aims to improve symptoms, movement, and quality of life. Researchers will compare the real light treatment to a placebo in 150 participants to see if it provides lasting relief.
