Shining a light on chemobrain: can red light therapy restore memory after cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT06995443

Summary

This study is testing a non-drug treatment called photobiomodulation (a type of light therapy) to see if it can help improve memory and thinking problems, often called 'chemobrain,' in women who have finished chemotherapy for breast cancer. Researchers will compare the results in about 200 women who receive the light therapy to those who do not. The goal is to find a safe way to ease this common and distressing side effect of cancer treatment.
