Shining a light on autism: At-Home device aims to ease social struggles in ADHD kids

NCT ID NCT04569058

Summary

This study tested whether a safe, non-invasive light therapy device could help children and teens with ADHD who also have significant autism-related social difficulties. Participants used the device at home for 8 weeks while their progress was monitored through video check-ins. The goal was to see if this drug-free approach could improve social skills and functioning where standard ADHD medications often do not help.
