Summary

This study tested whether shining a special near-infrared light on the brain could help children with autism. Six children aged 4-12 with autism and specific abnormal brain wave patterns wore a special head device twice a week for 10 weeks. Researchers looked for improvements in focus, eye contact, speech, and behavior.
