Summary
This study tested whether polarized light therapy combined with hand grip strengthening exercises can help children aged 8 to 11 with localized scleroderma affecting their hands. Twenty-one children took part, doing either resisted hand exercises, light therapy plus exercises, or basic stretching. The goal was to see if these treatments could reduce skin thickness and improve hand strength.
