Summary
This early-phase study tested a light-measuring system used during surgery to treat mesothelioma, non-small cell lung cancer, or other cancers that spread to the lining of the lungs. Nine participants received a light-activated drug called porfimer sodium, and doctors used the system to track how much laser light reached the tumor. The main goal was to check safety and see if the tool helps guide treatment decisions.
