Can diet, exercise, and stress relief ease unexplained heart pain?
NCT ID NCT06025994
Summary
This study is testing whether a comprehensive lifestyle program can reduce chest pain and improve quality of life for people with coronary microvascular dysfunction—a condition where the heart's smallest blood vessels don't work properly, causing pain despite clear arteries. About 120 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either this multi-part program (including diet, exercise, stress management, and tailored medication) or standard medical care. Researchers will track their pain levels and quality of life over five years to see which approach works better.
