NCT ID NCT06271200

First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether a strict diet (eating only within an 8-hour window), daily walking (10,000+ steps), and calorie cutting can help obese adults with metabolic syndrome lose weight and improve heart health. After 24 weeks, participants also receive one of two weight-loss medications for 26 weeks. The goal is to see if these approaches reduce metabolic risks and help maintain weight loss long-term. 200 adults aged 20–65 with a BMI of 27–45 are eligible.
