Walking for watery eyes: simple exercise trial targets PCOS symptom
NCT ID NCT07366944
Summary
This study is looking at whether adding regular walking to a standard treatment plan helps reduce dry eye symptoms in obese women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). All 40 participants will take medication and follow a low-calorie diet for 12 weeks, but half will also do treadmill walking three times a week. Researchers will measure eye dryness, weight, and hormone levels to see if the exercise group gets extra relief.
