Can diet and exercise stop breast cancer before it starts?

NCT ID NCT03448003

Summary

This study is testing whether a comprehensive lifestyle program can help prevent breast cancer in premenopausal women at higher risk. The 60 participants are randomly assigned to either follow a 12-week program of diet changes, exercise, stress management, and counseling, or to receive no intervention initially. The main goal is to see if this type of trial is practical to run and if women can stick to the program, while also checking for early signs of health improvement.
