New stool test could spot colon cancer early – study underway

Summary
This study aims to see how well the LifeKit Prevent test finds colorectal cancer and precancerous polyps using a stool sample. About 12,000 adults aged 40 and older getting a routine screening colonoscopy will provide samples. The goal is to check if the test is accurate enough to be a reliable screening option.
