First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at how past sports injuries and sitting too much can affect the long-term health of former athletes. Researchers will compare strength, physical activity, and overall health in 450 current and former athletes, as well as non-athletes, to understand why some people develop chronic diseases and pain. The goal is to find ways to help former athletes stay healthy as they age.
