Heart surgery patients share their recovery stories
NCT ID NCT07173998
Summary
This study aims to understand how developing an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) after heart surgery affects patients' quality of life. Researchers will follow 260 patients scheduled for heart surgery, asking them to complete surveys about their health and well-being before their operation and at one and three months after. The goal is to gather information to help improve future patient care, not to test a new treatment.
