Decades-Long study reveals hidden toll on bone marrow transplant survivors
NCT ID NCT06277479
Summary
This study surveyed 1,262 Danish survivors of bone marrow transplants to understand their long-term health challenges and quality of life. Researchers collected questionnaires from people who received transplants between 1970 and 2024 to identify what factors help survivors maintain better health. The goal is to gather knowledge that could improve future care, not to test a new treatment.
