NCT ID NCT07231614
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compares two common numbing medicines used in dentistry: lidocaine and articaine. The goal is to see which one works better for controlling pain during tooth extractions. One hundred adults needing a simple tooth pull will be randomly assigned to receive either lidocaine or articaine. Researchers will measure how many extra numbing shots are needed and how much pain patients feel during the procedure.
