Spray to take the sting out of IVs for Moms-to-Be
NCT ID NCT07212192
Summary
This study is testing if a numbing spray can reduce the pain of getting an IV needle placed before a scheduled C-section. Researchers will compare a 10% lidocaine spray to a placebo spray in 150 women. The goal is to see if the spray makes the common but painful IV insertion process more comfortable.
