New lidocaine combo aims to ease pain after fibroid surgery

Summary
This study looks at whether using lidocaine as a spray inside the belly plus through an IV can lower moderate-to-severe pain after keyhole surgery to remove uterine fibroids. About 100 adults aged 18-65 having this surgery will take part. The main goal is to see how many people have significant pain in the first 24 hours after the operation.
