NCT ID NCT07562217
First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study observes 200 adults with sepsis in intensive care units across four countries. Researchers will use regular heart ultrasound (echocardiography) and blood pressure measurements to see if certain heart function tests can better predict serious outcomes like death. The goal is to improve how doctors monitor and treat sepsis, but the study does not test any new treatment.
