First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special heart ultrasound can better predict serious problems in people with sepsis. Researchers will follow 200 adults in intensive care units across four countries. They will take regular heart scans and track health for up to one year. The goal is to see if these scans can warn doctors earlier about who is at higher risk.
