Summary
This small study tested whether levocarnitine, a natural substance, can help relieve dry eye in people with Sjogren's syndrome. Fifteen adults each received both the supplement and a placebo in a crossover design. Researchers measured changes in eye inflammation and dry eye symptoms to see if levocarnitine offers any benefit.
