New blood test aims to catch leukemia before it returns in kids

NCT ID NCT06452732

Summary

This study is testing a new laboratory method to detect very small numbers of leftover leukemia cells in the blood and bone marrow of children. The goal is to better predict which children are at high risk of their cancer coming back after initial treatment. If successful, this could help doctors decide which patients might need more aggressive or different treatments earlier to prevent relapse.
