Researchers test quicker, gentler treatment for Sun-Damaged skin
NCT ID NCT06027619
Summary
This study tested whether a common light therapy for sun-damaged skin (actinic keratosis) could be made less painful by shortening the treatment time. Researchers compared three different treatment durations (10, 20, and 60 minutes) to see if the shorter times could still effectively clear skin lesions while causing less discomfort during the procedure. The goal was to find a treatment option that works well but is easier for patients to tolerate.
